Instructor

Keeya started riding before she could walk! She grew up on her family's horse farm in Argyle, TX. This gave her in-depth knowledge of every aspect of the care, responsibility, and compassion involved in horse management. She has competed sucessfully in hunter, jumper, and dressage shows but her true passion is eventing. She began showing ponies at the age of 6 and has competed through the Intermdiate/CCI level as an eventer. Kee was on the gold medal team at the North American Young Riders Championships and was "long listed" for the US Equestrain Team with her horse Primary Colors "Prince." Keeya trained with Mike Huberat Gold Chip Stables for many years and numerous Olympic and International rider including Karen O'Connor and Philip Dutton. She also grew up as a member of the U.S. Pony Club, receiving C3 certification. Keeya graduated from SMU in Dallas, TX where she traveled and competed with the equestrian team.

At present, she is working with Roger Daly and training her 4 year old off-track thoroughbred, Wylie.

Keeya has volunteered with Stable Strides for over 15 years and is thrilled to be coaching. She has taught and trained at her farm in Argyle for many years. She loves the process of instilling fun and independence while helping her students become accomplished and confident riders!
